Dr. Jayasekera completed his Family Medicine Residency at McMaster University in Hamilton in 2020. He subsequently worked in Hamilton as a family physician and taught at the medical school before relocating to Windsor. He worked as a hospitalist from 2022 to 2023 at both the Metropolitan and Ouellette campuses of Windsor Regional Hospital. He subsequently joined the North 42 Family Health Organization in 2024.
Family Health Organization
Dr. Jayasekera is part of the North 42 Family Health Organization. He is one of a group of seven family physicians who work together to collectively care for the patients in the group. Your primary family physician will be Dr. Jayasekera, but you may see one of the other six doctors in the After Hours Clinic, which runs Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the clinic and sign up on the clipboard. Note that the clinic alternates between Unit 136 and Unit 120.

Our Family Practice
Our clinic is located in Unit 136 at the Windsor Professional Centre (2462 Howard Avenue). The clinic is shared among three physicians: Dr. Jayasekera, Dr. Verma, and Dr. Parent. Our front desk and phones are managed by Maria, and the back of the clinic duties are handled by Katie. There are lab, X-ray, and ultrasound services available in the building.
